lawless

Oh man, this Monday I had some extraordinarily surprising news: change of ownership at our workplace. It didn't really hit me at first, but the original owner (a weird cat from Philadelphia) wasn't there when I came in. A little bit before closing, a couple of Armenian guys came in who just so happened to be the new owners. Who knew ownership could go from bad to worse right?! lol don't get me wrong, it's not because they're Armenian (two of my coworkers are Armenian and happen to be the dopest people you'd ever meet), it's just that I get no bueno vibes from this guy. So come last night, none of the owners were there whatsoever, plus our somewhat incompetent manager left for the night. That is when it first hit me. Basically, we just kinda did what had to be done and practically kicked everyone out to close early, had a beer or two, created and ate our own pizzas, gave a flying fuck that someone wasn't charged for a bucket (6) of corona de la ronas, and got out of there asap! I mean, truly it's not the first time this has been done, there have been some extremely crazy times at that little cafe/sports bar. But this whole transitioning of ownership could even last a month, and last night was only a glimpse of what it's like without any ownership. I guess they have cameras and everything, and maybe they'll be watching us from afar, but I'd say that'd pretty hilarious for them to watch and have no control to do anything about it yet lol. Anyhow, I must say that work is very interesting nowadays, and forever will I be grateful to the original owner who did hire me to be their delivery boy, no matter how weird he is.

it's 1:00 am!

Truly, this one of the best features of Autumn. I thought I was going to absolutely dread going to sleep knowing that I'll have to wake up early in the morning, but the clock on my computer went from 1:59am to 1:00am! I felt like I just time traveled without the hassle of getting into my 1980's Delorian. So tomorrow (today really) will be pretty exciting for me just because I'll be heading up the razor back once again. Only this time I'll be able to take pictures!! I'll post them up or figure something out so all you lazy people will finally be able to see what's up there lol. The water will be a bit cold this time of year, but it should truly be a fun time anyhow. I don't think I'll go past the third waterfall 'cause of how cold the water might be, but we'll see what happens. I want one of those underwater camera cage dealios where it seals off the camera in order to take underwater photos. Imagine that?! I think that the $250.00 price tag is a bit too pricey to just jump in the water and take photos though. I'm just really curious to see what it looks like inside the creeks and swimming holes of Eaton Canyon's hidden 'falls. I've seen deer, buck, creeks forming, huge millipedes, a bunch of different spiders, frogs, land and water snakes, and I believe I seen one rattlesnake all coiled up. Granted that I do encounter any of these creatures tomorrow, I'll finally be able to record evidence of it without disturbing any of their environments!

blahg

Okay, here I am at ground zero. I haven't blogged since way-back-Wednesday of 2004 when xanga.com was still around. Forgive my rusty penmanship, it's just been a while. In any case, I thought I'd like to start off this introductory blog with what's going on in life. Thus far, I'm just doing the same ol' thing since this past spring: working and going to school. Nothing new there. However, work is not too bad these days now that football season is in session. It's always fun watching people get drunk and then tip a lot 'cause they are drunk and also because it's an overall good vibe when you mix food, beer, and sports. hah. It makes me wonder at times when I'm behind the counter/register what it'd be like to be a regular at a sports bar, someone who comes in every other day or so and gets the mad hook-ups with free food or beer or both. I suppose it's my overactive imagination running wild and interpreting that lifestyle with a type of romanticism that I've yet to understand why it'd be cool to have. Living a life like that.. I mean, c'mon, food, beer, and sports?! I know that's cool and everything but there is definitely more to life than just that. As with the school scene, it's getting a bit tougher but I just gotta stay focused on getting ze good grades. Speaking of which, I have a mad exam tomorrow. lol. I must wake up early to stuuuddyyy and get my new tags for my little Saturn! w00t! I'll finally be able to roam the streets in my own car again!! I suppose I should get off this thing now, I've expressed myself enough for one night. And besides, I think this little blog thing is going to be fun throughout my days..
